Arctic Buffalo Review

Alright so, I've bought a few items from an online store called "Arctic Buffalo" (.com) and I am really loving this store, the products are absolutely amazing. This isn't my first purchase from these guys, it is indeed my second, from my first I purchased a septum retainer, a skull septum clicker and that's all. The retainer is fantastic and in fact I'm wearing it right now although sadly I can't wear the septum clicker because the bar is straight and hurt my nose after a couple of hours.
This purchase however I decided to not only repurchase the septum retainer: in black this time, (See curvy black staple looking piercing in the picture above) I also wanted to try their conditioning oil and plugs. So these are and will be my thoughts and "review".

Septum Retainer ($4.50):
I loved the first septum retainer I purchased from these guys so naturally I had to purchase it again in another color so I can swap out and clean them when necessary.

Curved Post Septum Clicker With 5 Gems ($9.95):
I also wanted to try a different septum clicker that was curved instead of straight to see if I can wear that type of jewelry and if the issues with the first one was really the bar or not. (Circle with tear drop jewels on it is the septum clicker) I've successfully worn the jewelry for three days straight so that made me really happy and it's not overly heavy, nor is it too tight like I was worried. It hangs a little lower than I thought it might but that's fine as it doesn't touch my lips unless I push them out. It is a little hard to get back out of the nose though, I usually have to take my retainer and hook it through to pop the latch out of place. Other than that it's completely fine.

Aqua Cat Eye Plugs ($10.00):
(The really gorgeous aqua/teal plugs) So these are so beautiful! I absolutely adore them and they are the ones I've chosen to wear first. The stone has a really nice smooth texture but not like smooth plastic or anything. These feel solid with a little bit of weight in your ears, not saying it's uncomfortable or anything. These are pretty long too surprisingly. There isn't too much to say about these I just absolutely adore them.

Black Glitter Sand Acrylic Plugs ($6.99):
(Shorter black plugs) These guys are so cool to look at and swish around! The full affect is a little wasted in my ears because I'm such a small size you can't fully see what's going on when I wear them. Still extremely beautiful, cozy, I didn't quite expect them to be so short and flat, but what I do like alot is the front have a curved bubbled affect to it, so it magnifies the sand quite a bit. I haven't worn them except to try them on but I'm really pleased on how they look and fit so I'll probably be buying this pair again in the future in a different color.

GaugeGear "The Blend" Daily Conditioning Oil ($8.99):
So this bottle of oil is absolutely wonderful!! I'd used some of my friends GaugeGear stretching balm before and that worked wonders so I had to try the brand out again. You apply it twice a day and it comes in a 2 oz bottle. The oil is extremely watery so a teeny tiny bit goes a very long way. It cleanses your ear and the piercing itself of bacteria and has a pleasant smell that isn't overwhelming. It contains great stuff like jojoba oil and tea-tree oil as well.

It's actually helped me quite a bit because my left ear had a blowout and scar tissue from a past gauging up experience and so when I recieved my plugs it didn't want to accept them at all, so after a day and half of using the oil my ear was more relaxed and conditioned to allow the plug to slide in and each day it's feeling more loose around the plug. (In a good way of course) So it's safe to say this stuff is absolute HEAVEN!! I couldn't be happier with this stuff and it's gonna last for a quite a while.

Shipping and Prices:
Shipping was fantastic, an hour after initial purchase I received an email saying that my items had already been packaged at warehouse and ready to be shipped out, and then it was only approximately 3-4 days for me to actually receive them (Minus Sundays of course and the fact that I ordered the day before New Years) So it was super super fast and packaged with a bunch of bubble wrap and each jewelry piece has it's own little zip locked baggy.
Prices on the website do differentiate depending on the size of the product you are purchasing, bigger sizes tend to have higher prices, obviously. But I have to say purchasing from these guys compared to purchasing in store is ten times more easier, and less expensive. I will definitely be purchasing again from this company in the future. My only thing is I wish they sent you a little company card with your purchases like other companies do.

SO yeah! Those are my thoughts for now haha, I'm gonna run away now toodles everyone and have a great day!
